turkey day.

We spent Thanksgiving at Matt's mom's house in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Most of his family was there and we spent the holiday eating lots of food, watching movies and playing games. Thanks for having us all there Ranae & Richard!

This is Bentley's new scrunchy face that has been named the "Mandy Face" because he started making it the other night right when we got over to her house.
Bentley adores his Grandpa Richard. He gets so excited everytime Grandpa looks at him.

We hope you all had a happy and safe Thanksgiving. One good thing about being pregnant during the holidays is that if I gain a couple of pounds it ain't no thing. Though I don't think I can eat anymore pie or cookies for the next little while, that is at least until the Christmas baking starts!

sweetie bug.

Here are some pictures of the bedding Matt and I made. The otherside of the bumpers are chenille or another very soft fabric called minky. The pictures don't really do it any justice because you can't see how soft and pretty the fabric is. If you want me to make you one for your next baby let me know. I haven't decided how much to charge but it takes a really long time and the fabric is expensive because it is so nice.

tagged. thanks Lindsay.

This has nothing to do with me being tagged but it hilarious! I totally feel like this lately. Not that it is expected of me, but I really despise doing laundry, dishes, cleaning, grocery shopping and all of the other things I get to do for the rest of my life! Oh well, I'll get over it!

6 Things About Me...
1. I am a twin. This fact has caused many personality flaws or features. I hate being alone because I never had to be EVER. My mom dressed us in lots of matching outfits which has given me a total and complete obsession with having my own style, refusing to let my sister borrow my clothes in high school, and even going as far as sewing my own clothes just so nobody else will have the same thing I do. When you look like somebody else you try your hardest to not look like that person, eg. blonde hair for the past 14 years. How is that for self analysis? I don't loathe being a twin, I have just realized that it has truly affected my life!
2. I have lived in 7 different states. My opinion that California (more specifically Orange County) is the best place to live is unbiased. I have lived in Texas, Iowa, Indiana, Connecticut, Nevada, California (Laguna Niguel, La Jolla, Mission Viejo, and LA), and Utah. We moved about every 3 years while growing up. It was a good thing that I had a twin because I probably would have turned out even more weird if I had that many first days of school by myself.
3. I want to start my own baby bedding company. Matt and I actually spent a few weeks this summer sewing up some samples of a couture type bedding including bumpers, pillows, and blankets. Now that I'm prego again I don't know if I am up for all of the work. Though I would love to sew yours for you if you want to pay me to do it. They are pretty stinkin' adorable.
4. My favorite place is the beach. I love sand in my bed, hair, and under my fingernails. I do not surf but I am highly skilled in tanning. It's all about the cocoa butter! I have laid off the tanning a bit because I am realizing that I don't want spots like a cheetah. I love the sunrises and sunsets, the salty ocean smell, the breeze and the warmth.
5. I am having another baby! Don't worry, my denial is slowly wearing off. I actually put on some of my maternity clothes (with my amazing boots) today even though I don't need to wear them yet. I am excited that the kidlets will be so close in age. And my friends keep telling me that they will help me out....I'm keeping tabs and will make sure to remind you all of your promises!
6. Ok. The last one. This better be a good one. I love my friends. I would do anything for them. I have always valued my friendships and am mostly the one who keeps them going just because I love relationships. I love having some one to just sit around and do nothing with. I love that people really know me. And this is why I love being married and I have a ton of bestfriends, one in each state and in each state of my life. And this is why I love being only an hour away from my parents, they are great friends.
Who to tag? Jessica Hawks, Amber Pitt, Janae Low, Janni Kimble, and Becky Glosenger. Just write 6 things about yourself and then tag 5 people.

trick or treat.

On Halloween we carved our mini pumpkins (we have no porch so we decided to get itty bitty ones), and we went out to dinner with some of our new friends. We went to BJ's Pizza in Westwood. You may not know this, but I once worked at the one in La Jolla when I lived there for a couple of months. I had forgotten how much I love their food! It is so dang good. Afterwards we went to see Mandy, her parents, boyfriend and friend Molly. Molly and Mandy got a little competitive with the decorating. Their place looked amazingly spooky.

My parents came up on Thursday and spent the day with us. We went to the 3rd Street Promenade and had lunched and did a little bit of shopping. They brought Bentley some new cars to play with. I can't get over his charming smile and gorgeous eyes.
