more cousins and aunts.

Bentley met some more of his cousins and aunts on Memorial Day. We went to Matt's sister's for a barbecue in Portola Hills. Bentley finally got to meet his Aunt Carrie, Aunt Celeste, Uncle Rob, and cousins Kaylee, Madison, Alayna, and Emily. The next day we met them at the park and Bentley also go to meet his Aunt Barbara and cousin Ashley. We had tons of fun hanging out with all of them and are excited that we live much closer now.

Janni and Bentley both look like inmates!

aunt mandy.

Matt, Bentley and I drove to LAX to pick up Janni and Luke and we met up with Mandy. She loves our babies and wants to know when we are having more. Bentley really liked Mandy and all of the crazy sounds she makes. He couldn't stop smiling at her (his new favorite thing to do). I think she'll probably end up seeing more of Bentley than she wants once we move up to LA.

cousin luke.

Janni, Marvin and Luke came to visit us during Memorial Day weekend. I thought Bentley was a small baby until Luke showed up! Bentley is a chubalug compared to Luke! Bentley's new nicknames now include Chubby Bug and Tubby. Grams and Grandad came back from Hawaii and started laughing because he had gained so much weight in the 8 days that they had been away. We are embracing his chubby legs and cheeks even though he is still only 10.5 pounds.

uncle ryan.

Finally we were able to hang out with our best friends Ryan and Joselyn, one of the many perks of moving back to California. After dinner Ryan and Bentley had a deep conversation about finance, dirt bikes, and girls. Ryan will be a great daddy someday!

photo shoot.

Today I dressed Bentley up and we had a photo shoot. You would have thought that I, out of all people, would have done this sooner than this, but he is just now fitting into his 0-3 month clothes. So I hope you enjoy my little, chubby, blonde Matt also known as Bentley!

my first mothers' day.

What an amazing feeling! I love being a mom! Bentley bought me the most beautiful flowers and wrote me a very special card...and he's only 6 weeks old! It was special to spend the day with my mother too. She is so beautiful and such a perfect example of everything I want to be as mother. LOVE HER!

cousins.

It was Trace and Leslie's anniversary so Bentley's cousins Alexa, Chance and Dane spent the night at Grams and Grandads with us. They love Bentley and can't even walk by him without giving him a kiss. They entertained him with songs, puppet shows, toys and lots of questions.

graduation.
Matt graduated on Thursday and Friday. His mom and Richard came and stayed with us so that they could meet Bentley and go to Matt's graduation. We are so excited that our time in P-Town is up...Time to hit the road!

home again.
Matt and I are finally home! We packed up the U-Haul on Thursday and left the condo all to Janni and Marvin. The drive home took 13 hours but flew by with the company of Mom, Shalee and Chet. We rolled into the O.C. around 6:30 pm where Dad was anxiously waiting to take us to dinner!

there is no place like home...
I've been working on my tan and chillin' with Bob (we changed Bentley's name to Bob because his hair is looking a little bit strawberry every once in while...just kidding!) It's so nice to be home!

chunctified.
Bentley is growing! We look at the pictures of his first week and he is definitely packing on the ounces! Mom and I went to Costco today and Bentley gained a couple of friends. One lady said he was beautiful, another adored his pink feet, and another thought he looked like a doll because he is so little. I'm glad other people think he is cute too!
