helper.

Bentley likes to help. He especially likes to help get food or drink for his little brother. Matt hasn't been around much because of school so I forget to tell him about all of the things Bentley helps me with.

While I was gone Matt was sitting in the living room and the boys were in the kitchen being very quiet. Matt went to investigate and found oatmeal baby cereal all over the floor, on Bentley and Gaige's heads, and they were playing in it with their gardening tools. I sometimes catch him trying to pour out the cereal or scoop out the formula because he thinks Gaige needs to eat, but I think this time he just wanted to play in it.

haven't heard that one before.

Usually while I am in the grocery store people feel like they can say stuff about my kids to me. Most of the time it is something along the lines of "You have your hands full." Like I don't realize that exact thing every morning I wake up and every second of the day. It's a good thing old ladies feel like they can tell me this because it's easy for me to forget...stupid!

I took the boys to the doctor last week because I thought they had ear infections (I was right). After weighing them and commenting that Gaige weighed a little bit more than Bentley the MA went to remeasure Gaige's height because he was 6 inches shorter than Bentley. I told her they were a year apart and Bentley should be taller.

Today...

Somebody asked me if they were identical. I told him one is a little bit smaller and the other is a little bit bigger so they are the same size.

Somebody else asked if they were twins.

2 old ladies in the grocery store walked by and told Matt and I that we should charge people to have their pictures taken with our kids. That's something I haven't heard before. But we have been stopped in the mall so that people could take pictures of our kids. I know, people are a little strange. I am so grateful for people with positive things to say and for those that actually look before they speak and realize that they are not twins. Be perceptive, please!

bye bye deedee.

Indi, Tiff and Randy left early Saturday morning. It's a good thing we have Matt around for a week or we'd be very depressed. The sadness will sink in on Monday I'm sure.

caught red headed.
I'm getting pretty good at grabbing the camera to capture some sweet little moments. I was in the kitchen and looked over to see my 2 redheads doing this for quite awhile. Yes, they are kissing, hugging, and giggling.

spring break.

Since Matt has been home this week we've been busy. On Monday we went to The Price is Right with a bunch of friends from our ward. Sadly, none of us got the chance to win anything which is probably a good thing for the sponsors since I had all of the prices of the products they've aired for the past three months memorized. I really would have made out if I had the chance. I think a mini cooper is just too small of a car for a girl like me anyways. P.S. I had another dream about my old truck last night again.

We also went to Disneyland....crowded! We went on 3 rides at California Adventure and called it good. Waiting in line with our 2 squirmy worms that think it is always their turn regardless of the 300 people in line in front of them made it difficult.

Wednesday we went to the beach and then Matt and I hit the driving range while Jenna watched the boys while they were sleeping, but of course they didn't sleep very long. Thanks Jenna!

Today Matt is golfing and then he will be assisting a friend who is taking his licensing exam for dentistry tomorrow and Saturday. We still have lots to do while Matt is around. We need to get flowers to plant in the garden plot outside of our apartment building, and get supplies for Bentley's birthday party (Kung Fu Panda). That's right, Bentley turns 2 in 1 week. It's been nice having him around. Now he has to start studying for Boards...boooo whooo!

too cute.

So I had to post this picture right away. Bentley was trying to be so helpful. He grabbed the tube of Crest toothpaste and thought it was dishwasher detergent. So he helped me do the dishes by putting what he thought was detergent in the dishwasher. Thanks Bentley, they really do look the same.
