5 years.
Matt and I celebrated our 5th anniversary on December 28th. In some ways the past 5 years have gone by quickly, and in other ways it definitely seems like 5 years. In the past 5 years...
- I have had 6 jobs
- We've moved 3 times (5 if you count being at my parents' last summer)
- I've been pregnant twice (my poor husband)
- We've had one little boy and another is on his way
- We've made tons of friends
- Kept lots too
- I've been on a diet most of that 5 years except for the 14 months I've been pregnant!
- Matt started and graduated college
- Matt started dental school
- We're pretty sure we're going to make it!
We celebrated by going to Ti Amo's in South Laguna. We haven't been in forever...it was pretty good. We celebrated our first Valentine's Day there back in 1998! Afterwards we went to a movie for the first time in 6 months or so!
On our first wedding anniversary we toasted to "No babies". This time there was no such toast, or any other toast!

Congratulations! I will always feel bad about missing your wedding (and janni's and jess's and everyone elses for that matter). You were a beautiful wife and you are a beautiful mama and one of my favorite people. Even if you send me negative e-mails criticizing the democratic party.
