bye bye deedee.

Indi, Tiff and Randy left early Saturday morning. It's a good thing we have Matt around for a week or we'd be very depressed. The sadness will sink in on Monday I'm sure.

caught red headed.
I'm getting pretty good at grabbing the camera to capture some sweet little moments. I was in the kitchen and looked over to see my 2 redheads doing this for quite awhile. Yes, they are kissing, hugging, and giggling.

spring break.

Since Matt has been home this week we've been busy. On Monday we went to The Price is Right with a bunch of friends from our ward. Sadly, none of us got the chance to win anything which is probably a good thing for the sponsors since I had all of the prices of the products they've aired for the past three months memorized. I really would have made out if I had the chance. I think a mini cooper is just too small of a car for a girl like me anyways. P.S. I had another dream about my old truck last night again.

We also went to Disneyland....crowded! We went on 3 rides at California Adventure and called it good. Waiting in line with our 2 squirmy worms that think it is always their turn regardless of the 300 people in line in front of them made it difficult.

Wednesday we went to the beach and then Matt and I hit the driving range while Jenna watched the boys while they were sleeping, but of course they didn't sleep very long. Thanks Jenna!

Today Matt is golfing and then he will be assisting a friend who is taking his licensing exam for dentistry tomorrow and Saturday. We still have lots to do while Matt is around. We need to get flowers to plant in the garden plot outside of our apartment building, and get supplies for Bentley's birthday party (Kung Fu Panda). That's right, Bentley turns 2 in 1 week. It's been nice having him around. Now he has to start studying for Boards...boooo whooo!

too cute.

So I had to post this picture right away. Bentley was trying to be so helpful. He grabbed the tube of Crest toothpaste and thought it was dishwasher detergent. So he helped me do the dishes by putting what he thought was detergent in the dishwasher. Thanks Bentley, they really do look the same.

sickies.

It's been a rough couple of days. The boys are sick again. We were going strong and healthy for at least a month and a half and then they got sick again! Though I love cuddling and watching movies with my sickies, I could definitely go without the runny noses, constant whining, trillions of diaper changes, and tantrums. The boys and I went to my parents' this weekend because Matt is starting his 3rd week of being MIA due to finals. I'm really surprised that I've actually made it this long without him. The boys were angels until they got sick again.

The latest...

Tongues... Gaige loves to stick his tongue out now. We could do it back and forth with each other for hours. When you ask him what a monkey he says he says, "ah ah ah ah". What a cute muffin.

Olive Garden... I went to lunch with Kelli, Michelle, and Bryn and all of our kidlets. Yes, the kids outnumbered the adults! Sometimes I get brave and think that I can handle the boys in a restaurant without anything crazy happening. And I am always wrong. It was fun to get out with the girls before Michelle has her baby, but my boys are a handful! All of their food, utensils, cups, napkins, sugar packets, menus, crayons, and everything else in reach was on the floor beneath their high chairs. Bentley did not like his cold milk and decided to take a big gulp and then spit it out all over himself and the floor...twice. They refused to eat their food and just wanted to suck on sugar packets. And Gaige chucked a plate on the floor and broke it. This is why Grandad gets embarassed everytime we go out to eat. My children cannot be contained in restaurants! Bryn thinks that restaurants should have padded rooms full of food that you can put your kids in while you eat peacefully. Amen!

Movies... Bentley is obsessed with movies. Every morning he wakes up he wants to put in a DVD. I have now seen Cars, Monsters Inc., and Kung Fu Panda 50+ times each. When we are inside we need a movie on. It is a good thing we spend a lot of time outside. We have had tons of fun playing with our friends at the numerous playgrounds in our apartment complex. Thank you friends for helping me keep my sanity.

Joselyn's Shower... My friend Joselyn had her baby boy Gibson 3 weeks ago. So I helped her mom throw a shower down in Orange County this weekend. It was a lot of fun and I am so proud of her. She is a fabulous and gorgeous mommy.

Gaige Walking... He's not quite walking, but he took about 4 or 5 steps to his Grandad this weekend. It is going to be very weird not to have a tiny baby in my house, just 2 stinkers. Don't worry, there won't be any new babies in our household for a good 4 years.

This Week...

Monday...24 is on.

Tuesday Jessica and David Hawks are coming to see us. It has been just about 2 years since I've seen my fabulous friend. The last time was when she came to Bentley's baby blessing and helped my mom and I in
the kitchen. I can't wait to see her preggo belly and spoil her with baby gifts. Love ya, Jessica!

Thursday night we are having card club at my house. I've gotta fill my nights with something since Matt is studying like a mad man.

Friday we have a birthday party to go to and Matt will be done with finals!

Saturday Tiffany, Indi and Randy are moving.

Sunday I plan on not getting out of bed because Tiffany is gone. I cry everytime I think about her leaving. I don't think she will ever know what a blessing she has been to me this past year.

Monday we are going to The Price is Right with a bunch of couples from our ward. It starts the beginning of our Spring Break!

girls.

My boys love girls! Gaige loves to kiss them over and over again. And Bentley loves to make them squeal, play with them, and give them hugs. Both of their faces light up when they see girls. Here are some pictures of Claire and Bentley at the playground.
